Bazil is a French reggae artist shaped by Jamaican culture, soul, hip-hop and dancehall.

After several stays and recording sessions in Jamaica, Bazil developed a sound where reggae basslines, melodic writing and modern production meet. His discography spans seven albums, from Grow, East to the West, High on Music and Stand Up Strong to Try, Evening Flight and Big Stereo.

Over the years he has collaborated with Naâman, Flavia Coelho, Manudigital, Daddy Mory, Zamunda and Ondubground. He has also recorded dubplates for Major Lazer and appeared on the soundtrack of the Jamaican film Destiny.

Bazil performs across France and internationally, in clubs and at festivals. His live history includes Solidays, Dour, SunSka, No Logo, Sakifo, Outlook UK, Boomtown UK, Yzeures’n’Rock and Reggae Jam.
